Dental

Dental insurance for your family — it covers what matters, no fine print.

Coverage of up to $5,000 a year for dental treatment.

With or without a medical plan. I explain what each level covers, the waiting periods, and how not to overpay.

Keembely Díaz, licensed nurse and insurance agent

Waiting periods: the most useful thing to know

It is the time you wait, after activating your insurance, before certain treatments are covered.

If the insurance is interrupted — non-payment or a cancellation — the waiting period starts over from zero.
Class 3 procedures
  • Crowns
  • Root canals
  • Bone surgery
  • Bridges
  • Extractions

They are covered according to your waiting period, at the percentage that applies.

Did you know?

A dental X-ray can catch deep cavities or trouble in your molars in time.

Have you booked your children's dental check-up?

  • At their routine check-ups any treatment is caught in time.
  • A cleaning in time costs little. A crown or a root canal without insurance does not.

Carriers I work with
